Dental Care:

The Animal Hospital, as a full-service veterinary hospital, is equipped to provide routine dental prophylaxes (preventative care and cleaning) for our patients. This is similar to the routine cleaning and polishing that humans receive from their family dentists. Veterinary dental prophylaxis, however, requires the patient be anaesthetised; our companion animals do not know they should sit quietly with their mouths wide open!

Dental prophylaxes are usually scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays. Senior trained technical staff perform prophies under the supervision of a doctor. Doctors perform the most difficult procedures.
